A survey shows that women are two times more afraid to go to the dentist than men. Dentist is a doctor of the most feared. What makes people afraid of the dentist?

The survey research found 19 percent of women experience extreme anxiety when in a dentist's waiting room, compared with men who only 10 percent. The survey was conducted in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

In this dental health surveys involving more than 11,300 people were interviewed and examined 6469 adults.
Also note that the number of people who experience tooth decay is greater than people who have a normal tooth.

Though routinely ignore dental care because of excessive anxiety can actually lead to bigger problems, so that will make oral and dental care costs would be higher.

People think the cause of cavities is because eating candy, sugar or any sweet foods and beverages. But researchers found people who have cavities could pass on to others. How come?

Bacteria that cause cavities and tooth decay is Streptococcus mutans. This bacteria can spread bacteria like colds or flu that spreads from one person to another.

Jellyfish Detect Cancer

It’s not easy to detect cancer, especially when still at an early stage. But, by utilizing the protein in a jellyfish glow in the dark of the famous deadly toxic, cancer can be detected early.

Chamomile Recipe For Insomnia

Chamomile can be used as natural treatment and home remedi for insomnia. Chamomile is one of herbal treatment for insomnia was also known as 'Anthemis nobilis' is a time-honored sedative herb which can be safely used by children and adults alike. Chamomile oil can also be put in bath water (5-6 drops) to soothe overwrought nerves, diluted to 2% to make an excellent massage oil, or used as an inhalant.
  • Dose: Tea, 1 cup 2-3 x daily; Tincture, 30 drops 3 x daily.
Chamomile as herbal treatment for insomnia can be very helpful in relieving the symptoms of mild insomnia (transient insomnia).

Chrysin, a flavonoid component of Chamomile, is the chemical attributed to Chamomile's ability to relieve anxiety and promote sleep. Chrysin can also be found in Passion flower, another plant often effective in the treatment of insomnia and anxiety.

Ingredients :
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp. dried chamomile flowers
  • lemon juice
  • honey

Preparation :
  • Bring the water to the boil in a saucepan.
  • Add the dried chamomile flowers to the water (either directly or using a tea infuser) and boil for thirty to forty-five seconds with the lid on.
  • Remove the tea from the heat and let the flowers steep for another minute.
  • The loose flowers can then be removed from the tea using a strainer.
  • Served with honey and a little lemon juice, this tea is a tasty way to unwind after a busy day and its calming properties usually begin to take effect within a half hour of drinking a cup.
  • For added sedative effect, substitute a few leaves of Lemon Balm for the lemon juice.

Take some root of the pippali (Piper longum) plant and grind to fine powder. Take one teaspoonful of this powder every night by adding some jaggery. Take this powder with a glassful of warm milk. This is very effective Natural remedy for insomnia.

Exercise for Insomnia
Regular exercise deepens sleep in young adults with or without sleep disorders and enhances the quantity and quality of sleep as the exercise stimulates the elimination of lactic acid from the body.

Recent studies show that even the low-to-moderate Tai Chi and certain yoga practices enhance sleep quality in older persons and cancer patients with sleep problems, respectively. Most experts advise exercising at least three to four hours before bedtime to avoid interference with sleep.Walking, jogging, skipping and swimming are the good exercises. This is a good insomnia treatment.

Relaxation and Meditation
Increased muscle tension and intrusive thoughts can interfere with sleep. Therefore, it is not surprising that techniques aimed at relaxing and quieting the mind (meditation) have been found to be effective treatments for insomnia. It usually takes several weeks before they can sufficiently master them well enough to help ease insomnia. There is a growing body of evidence that supports the value of meditation in treating insomnia. Several studies show that regular meditation practice, either alone or as a part of yoga practice, results in higher blood levels of melatonin, an important regulator of sleep. To overcome the problem of insomnia one should stick to a regular sleeping schedule like going to bed at a fixed time every night and getting up at a fixed time in the morning.

Other Home Remedies for Insomnia
Applications of hot packs, hot fomentations to the spine, and hot footbath before going to bed are the effective measures. This is one of the best insomnia cure. The cold hipbath with feet in hot water at bedtime is the other beneficial water treatment. A cup of milk with honey at bedtime is helpful in inducing sleep. Mash a single ripe banana into a bowl and then put the roasted cumin seeds into it. mix both properly. Take this after dinner. It will induce good sleep and is very good home remedy for insomnia.
